How you receive your order

Please be aware that we do hold a large number of items in stock and all purchases will be delivered within 7-14 days of order (or sooner!). If, in the instance that, an item is out of stock please accept anything up to 12 weeks before delivery can be made.   It is advisable to check with us by telephone stock status.

Delivery of Goods In General:
On receipt of your order we will send a confirmation including our Terms and Conditions by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation within 72 hours please contact our Sales Office immediately on number required.

Orders are treated according to the availability of the goods and will be allocated upon payment. Once the availability of your purchase is confirmed you will receive an approximate delivery date.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all the goods you have ordered will fit into your home. It is essential that you check the measurements of all access areas e.g. doorways, hallways, stairs, stairwells, etc. to ensure delivery access will not restrict delivery. As the furniture is handmade all measurements are approximate and can vary up to 3cm. When you place your order you must inform us of any access restrictions or circumstances which may prevent successful delivery being completed. We are unable to refund orders which cannot be delivered due to restricted access or the items do not fit the room.

Most deliveries are executed within 4-6 weeks but some articles may take up to 12 -16 weeks.

Deliveries are normally executed as complete orders and occasionally in several parts, in a case were the customer insists on part delivery for whatever reason additional costs incurred by the company will be charged to the customer at cost the same charge applies if free delivery is given.

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our delivery approximations, however delays can occur and we will not accept claims, indemnification or cancellations of any current order in respect thereof.

NB * We prefer to quote for delivery rather than hide these costs in the price of the furniture; we all know that there is no such thing as free delivery

The Delivery Process:

Our Dispatch Department will contact you once your goods have been received into our warehouses and checked by Quality Control.

Collection of the goods from our warehouses by our haulier's normally takes place on Friday of each week (and in the event of a Bank Holiday, the first working day thereafter) and sorted at one of their dedicated depots. The haulier's logistics department will then contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date/time based on the hauliers availability in your area, usually within 5 working days after collection from Ambrose Interiors.

Your goods are fully insured until they reach the delivery destination whereby the insurance liability falls upon the recipient. All deliveries are to doorstep only. However, in certain circumstances our hauliers may bring the goods into the premises but will not be insured and are under no obligation to do so. To ensure the delivery prices are kept low the drivers will not undertake additional tasks such as removing doors, window frames or rearranging furniture. Deliveries requiring special arrangements can sometimes be made but will be at an additional cost to you.

Important Delivery Information

If you are unavailable or unwilling to accept delivery at the delivery address on two occasions after having agreed delivery dates, we will begin to charge you storage costs of £100 per full week in respect of the undelivered goods from the date of the second failed delivery attempt. Storage charges at the same rate will apply to Customers unwilling to take delivery 3 weeks after the original due date for delivery or first booking attempt whichever is the later. We charge 100% redelivery for all goods.

If our haulier is unable to contact you after three attempts by phone, they will write to you. We shall not be responsible for delays if they are unable to contact you, so please ensure that at least two numbers are provided at the time you place your order.

If we, or our haulier, accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery then our liability for that damage is limited to the replacement of the goods or the value thereof.
